Devin W. Collins, DO

Board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in the hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder and upper extremity, with a particular interest in microsurgery, nerve care and complex reconstruction.

Training and practice

Dr. Collins is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He completed orthopedic surgery residency at The Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia, followed by fellowship training in Hand, Upper Extremity and Microvascular Surgery at Florida Orthopaedic Institute.

Clinical focus

His practice includes fractures, carpal and cubital tunnel syndromes, nerve injury and reconstruction, tendon and ligament injuries, trigger finger, Dupuytren’s disease, arthritis and other conditions from the hand through the shoulder.

Research and education

Dr. Collins has authored peer-reviewed orthopedic and hand-surgery research and has presented at international, national and regional meetings. His published work includes research on cubital tunnel diagnosis, thumb MCP arthrodesis and reconstructive techniques for metacarpal malunion.
